A crowded backcourt seemed ready to haunt the Bulls this summer. Newcomer Larry Hughes was playing poorly since joining the team on Feb. 21, and he might have the most unwanted contract on the team, with two years left at $26 million.

But Hughes gave a glimpse of the possibilities he offers by producing 25 points and nine assists in Thursday's win over Cleveland.

Hughes continued to lobby for playing time in the 35-minute range, which will only be possible if the Bulls trade one of their guards. There's no telling right now if the Bulls will be able to move Hughes, Kirk Hinrich, restricted free agent Ben Gordon or none of the above. It's also conceivable to trade Luol Deng and move Thabo Sefolosha to small forward.
