Allen scores 22 as Boston beats Chicago 106-92 to stay 6 ahead of Detroit (AP)

Boston Celtics' Ray Allen (20) shoots over Chicago Bulls' Thabo Sefolosha (2), of Switzerland, as Chicago's Aaron Gray yells from the bench during the third quarter of an NBA basketball game Tuesday, April 1, 2008, in Chicago. The Celtics won 106-92.

Never mind the record. Ray Allen insisted the Boston Celtics are not the favorites in the Eastern Conference, even if they're closing in on the top seed. "It's not like we won last year," he said. "We're all pretty much new to the situation." Allen scored 22 points, and Kevin Garnett added 20 and blocked four shots to lead the Celtics to a 106-92 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night.
